My impression upon arrival is that the Springfield Lodge is located in a very beautiful looking building. It certainly has a European charm to it, Parisian even, which is a wonderful change from your stock standard hotel chain exterior. This elegant boutique hotel was apparently restored from its 1924 glory, and is heritage listed; all which added to the excitement of my stay.
FOOD
Conveniently located downstairs is a lovely café, which serves a delicious breakfast and lunch. I’d like to thank Anna Hopewell, Owner of Anatel, and her team, who were amazing and provided my crew and I with coffees and lunch during our stay. Whenever I find myself in the area, I will be sure to swing by the café again. Highly recommended for those of you who love to grab a peaceful coffee alone or with a friend and watch the world go by.
HOTEL FACILITIES
Firstly, the complimentary internet is fast which is actually hard to come by and particularly convenient for those of us staying for business purposes. Some other key facilities include, a cafe attached to the lodge, 24hr reception and an airport taxi service.
HOTEL EXPERIENCE
My room was very cosy and comfortable to stay in. Decorated in classic tones of black, grey and white, with a touch of red. The Lodge feels like an ultra chic and stylish home away from home. The bed was super comfortable and there was a modern en-suite bathroom.
STAFF
I was greeted by a smiley Glen at the front desk who extended a warm welcome to me, making me feel like the hotel appreciates and values each of their guests. We were shooting during our stay so we did need some assistance from staff, who were nothing short of wonderfully accommodating to our needs.
LOCATION
The Springfield Lodge is suitably nestled in trendy Potts Point, amongst a plethora of restaurants, bars and transport options.
My FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall I feel like the Springfield Lodge is perfect for an indulgent staycation and also a fantastic choice for a visitor looking to get out of the Sydney CBD hustle. A little slice of European luxury which I genuinely look forward to visiting again in the near future.
