Being a Men’s Fashion & Personal Stylist means that I often need to find nice, convenient locations to dress my clients. I always want my clients to feel comfortable, in a private space away from the public eye, for their fittings or for getting them ready for their special event or occasion. I recently had the pleasure of being invited as a guest of Pan Pacific Melbourne, a luxury five-star hotel located at the luxury South Wharf precinct.
For the duration of my stay, I experienced their incredible Panoramic Suite, featuring the most amazing views of the city skyline and the iconic Yarra River. The room featured all of the best amenities, as well as a spacious walk-in shower and bathtub, and a separate living room; all with luxury interior design and immaculately styled fine details. One of many particularly nice touches that comes to mind was receiving an unexpected afternoon dessert delivered to my room, which was delicious and thoroughly appreciated after a long day of work.
I used this beautiful, waterfront location to style my client, Archie Thompson for a special occasion, and we were both really impressed by everything about it.
It was also really refreshing to experience a hotel that has a restaurant up to the standard of the actual hotel. Dock 37 is all about contemporary Australian food, with a focus on quality, fresh produce. For the wine lovers, it has an amazing walk-through wine gantry, suspended above the bar, with a cellar of over 500 wines. The bar also serves light meals and signature cocktails. No more Googling local restaurants when you can find great food within the hotel grounds.
