It was such a pleasure to recently stay and review the lovely Pullman Brisbane Airport hotel.

LOCATION

The hotel is conveniently located in close proximity to the airport, on Dryandra Road. Its location is perfect for those in transit to and from other locations.

FOOD

The hotel features the ‘Apron Bar and Restaurant’, located on the ground floor and is a must visit for food and wine aficionados alike. I got to personally enjoy and experience it during a moment of downtime in between meetings and shooting. It focuses on delicious Modern Australian cuisine.

Their sumptuous dishes have been created using only the freshest produce which has been sourced from with a 20km radius of the hotel, from Moreton Bay to a surrounding resource of small farms. Overlooking a chic pool terrace, with the upmost elegant interior styling and ambience, it also features a private dining area for special occasions. The bar was stocked with my favourite wines, spirits and of course whisky. I felt very spoilt as I was treated to a delicious cocktail and a specially made, incredible tasting meal direct from the Head Chef Marco Lodigiani.

HOTEL FACILITIES

Of course you have your high class fitness centre, 14 meeting rooms, super fast internet and all of the amenities you’d want when staying in a hotel of this caliber. During shooting I was treated with a beautiful fruit platter and a cocktail by their newly renovated pool and sundeck, just one of their many 5-star facilities on offer to enjoy.

HOTEL EXPERIENCE

One thing l love when traveling for work to review hotels, is getting the opportunity to see each type of room available; from standard rooms to executive suites, and also to the luxurious presidential-style suites. The architecturally designed Pullman Brisbane Airport offers guests a 5 star luxury escape, all from within the heart of the airport precinct. Understated elegance are the hallmarks of the property, with 132 perfectly appointed rooms. It was a great pleasure to see and enjoy their elegant Theodore Suite, which features all of the decadent bells and whistles you’d hope for. I took the opportunity to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. In the morning, I decided to start my day with a nice relaxing bath. Some of their suites are named after the owner’s children, which I think is such a lovely personal touch by the hotel. I also enjoyed a complementary buffet breakfast which was super fresh and delicious.

STAFF

I was assisted by the lovely Ellen, who was absolutely amazing and helped coordinated the requirements I had for our photoshoot. She truly went above and beyond, and was a wonderful reflection of the Pullman brand and their level of customer service. In the Executive Lounge I was assisted by Krystal, again, amazing service, very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Shai-Ann at the front desk was super lovely and helped my crew and I with our video. All of the staff I liaised with during my stay at Pullman Brisbane Airport greeted me with an amazing welcome and knew to expect me. It’s so nice when a hotel knows which guests are arriving that day and greets them personally, it’s something I’m finding less and less of in my travels and yet it’s so important for first impressions and the overall guest experience.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS

Overall I had a really amazing and positive experience. It’s definitely one of my favourite hotels in Brisbane. I loved everything about this hotel and especially the fact that it’s so classy and elegant, unlike so many airport hotels. A beautiful space, with elegantly styled rooms and cool views, paired with a great pool to relax and unwind in whilst in transit. They  restaurant is wonderful too and I’m very grateful for their hospitality not only to myself by to my crew. I felt very welcomed and would be happy to return again in the near future.
